O mundo da música no metaverso foi pego de surpresa. Valentina Rosario, uma das vozes mais marcantes de sua geração, anunciou oficialmente sua aposentadoria dos palcos virtuais. Em uma conversa exclusiva com a Ellu Magazine, a artista abriu o coração sobre o que a levou a essa decisão, relembrou os principais momentos de sua trajetória e falou sobre o que vem pela frente.
Para Valentina, essa escolha não foi impulsiva. Foi algo muito pessoal, um sentimento de que sua jornada na música havia chegado ao fim de forma natural. Ela contou que realizou absolutamente tudo o que desejava — e até mais do que imaginava possível. Com o apoio de Larissa Pompom, Kaye Dewfunt e Felix Fox, sua carreira atingiu alturas impressionantes no último ano. Com lançamentos marcantes como “Only When”, “Dilemma”, “Battle” e, por fim, seu álbum de estreia “Unapologetic”, Valentina conquistou vários marcos em pouco tempo. Segundo ela, não há mais nada a provar. Agora, quer desacelerar, talvez construir uma família e abrir um novo capítulo da vida.
Ao falar sobre estilos musicais, seus olhos brilharam. Ao longo da carreira, Valentina experimentou pop, R&B, rock e até música eletrônica, mas foi na mistura entre R&B e pop que ela se encontrou de verdade. “Dilemma” foi o exemplo perfeito disso. Ela fez questão de elogiar Melody Hart, que transformou sua ideia em uma canção real e emocionante. Valentina também relembrou os tempos em que fez parte de um girl group, período em que se apaixonou definitivamente por esses estilos. Com o tempo, abraçou a experimentação como parte essencial de sua evolução artística, arriscando novos caminhos como o pop rock de “Battle”, com a orientação de Felix e Kaye, que ajudaram a moldar seu som para esse novo terreno.
Ao olhar para trás, Valentina vê um cenário muito diferente daquele em que começou. Quando estreou em 2024, havia poucos artistas no metaverso. Poucos meses depois, o número cresceu rapidamente e a cena ficou muito mais competitiva. Segundo ela, muitos tentam se destacar seguindo tendências parecidas, mas acredita que há espaço para todos encontrarem seu lugar e brilharem com autenticidade.
Sobre a nova geração de artistas, Valentina foi direta: o Brasil está fazendo história. Depois de conhecer a cena brasileira, ela percebeu que os artistas americanos — inclusive ela mesma — precisam “elevar o nível”. Ficou encantada com a criatividade de grupos como Little Liars, que unem suas personas do metaverso com o mundo real de formas únicas. Ela quer ver mais ousadia, mais grupos diversos como NXLV e ALTEREGO, mais experimentações sonoras e, claro, mais videoclipes. Sua empolgação com o futuro é contagiante.
Antes de se despedir, Valentina lançará o EP “Delicate”, um projeto íntimo e vulnerável que explora a sensação de estar preso dentro da própria mente. Ela contou que sempre lidou com paranoias em relações pessoais, questionando se os problemas vinham dela mesma ou se era apenas sua cabeça criando cenários. Colocar esses sentimentos em música é sua forma de processar tudo isso e talvez dar respostas a quem a acompanha há tempos.
Aos fãs, sua mensagem é simples e cheia de carinho: “Eu amo muito vocês. Sem o apoio e o amor de vocês, eu não estaria aqui. Espero que todos entendam minha decisão e saibam que a música sempre viverá para sempre. Eu amo vocês, meus fãs ❤️”.
Embora este seja um adeus à música, Valentina não descarta novos começos. Seu desejo é que seu legado lembre as pessoas de que está tudo bem ser emocional, ter falhas e continuar brilhando do seu jeito. Se pudesse aconselhar a Valentina do passado, diria para permanecer na Rockford Records, sua verdadeira família artística. Felix, Dakota, Kay’e, Hector, J Clowd, Keoni, Nico, GRLFRNDS, Larissa e tantos outros foram fundamentais para sua trajetória.
Ao encerrar esse capítulo, Valentina não está desaparecendo. Ela está deixando para trás uma era marcada por autenticidade, experimentação e emoção. E embora “Unapologetic” tenha sido seu álbum de estreia, também soa como o encerramento perfeito de uma história inesquecível.
The metaverse music world just received news that left everyone stunned. Valentina Rosario, one of the brightest voices of this generation, has officially announced her retirement from the music scene. In an exclusive conversation with Ellu Magazine, Valentina opened up about what led her to this decision, reflected on her journey, and shared a glimpse of what’s next.
For Valentina, stepping away wasn’t a sudden decision. It came from a deep personal feeling that her journey in music had reached its natural end. She told us that she accomplished everything she set out to do, and even more than she ever imagined. With the support of Larissa Pompom, Kaye Dewfunt and Felix Fox, her career reached incredible heights over the past year. From the release of “Only When” to “Dilemma,” followed by “Battle” and her debut album “Unapologetic,” Valentina hit milestone after milestone in a short amount of time. She explained that there’s nothing left to prove and now she wants to settle down, maybe start a family, and move into a new chapter of life.
When we talked about genres, her face lit up. Valentina experimented with pop, R&B, rock, and even electronic music, but it was R&B and pop that felt the most authentic to her. She shared how “Dilemma” was a perfect blend of the two, crediting Melody Hart’s incredible songwriting for bringing her vision to life. She also reflected on her early days in a girl group, where she fell in love with these genres. Over time, she embraced experimentation as part of her creative growth, trying new styles like pop rock on “Battle” with the help of Felix and Kaye, who guided her through the process.
Looking back at how the metaverse music scene has evolved, Valentina remembers a time when there were far fewer artists. When she debuted in 2024, the industry began to grow rapidly and became more competitive than she expected. Everyone was trying to stand out while often chasing similar sounds. But despite that, she believes there’s space for everyone to find their place and shine.
When asked about the new generation of artists, she didn’t hesitate to highlight the Brazilian scene. Valentina said that after being introduced to Brazilian music, she felt that American artists, including herself, needed to “step their cookies up.” She was amazed by the creativity she saw in groups like Little Liars and the way they merge their metaverse personas with real-world artistry. She hopes to see more risk-taking, more genre-blending, more diverse groups like NXLV and ALTEREGO, and of course, more music videos. Her excitement for what’s coming next is contagious.
Her upcoming EP, “Delicate,” will be her final project before stepping away. It’s a vulnerable and honest exploration of what it feels like to be stuck in your own mind. Valentina opened up about her lifelong paranoia when it comes to friendships and connections. She often wonders if she’s the problem or if she’s simply overthinking. Through this EP, she hopes to express these fragile emotions and maybe give answers to those who’ve been waiting for them.
To her fans, Valentina’s message is simple but heartfelt: “I love you all so much. Without your support and love, I wouldn’t be here. I hope everyone supports my decision and understands that music will always be forever. Eu amo vocês meus fãs ❤️”
While she’s saying goodbye to music for now, she isn’t ruling out new beginnings in the future. Her hope is that her legacy reminds people that it’s okay to be emotional and imperfect, as long as you know who you are and keep shining. And if she could give advice to her younger self, she’d tell her to stick with Rockford Records, the family that believed in her from the start. Felix, Dakota, Kay’e, Hector, J Clowd, Keoni, Nico, the GRLFRNDS, Larissa, and many others shaped the journey of Valentina Rosario.
As she closes this chapter, Valentina isn’t fading away. She’s leaving behind an era defined by authenticity, experimentation, and heart. And while “Unapologetic” might have been her debut, it also feels like the perfect finale.
